Welcome to Dirty Donkey Limited's Terms and Conditions

1. Booking

1.1 Upon verbal/written confirmation of a booking, an invoice with a deposit figure will be provided to the Client in writing by Dirty Donkey Ltd on a numbered invoice, detailing the deposit amount, and the amount and timings of the final payment. 

1.2 No booking is confirmed until the deposit payment has been received by Dirty Donkey Ltd. The final payment figure will be payable by the Client no later than the agreed date, as detailed on the invoice.  

1.3 If the Client fails to make the final payment in accordance with our terms and those detailed on the invoice, Dirty Donkey Ltd reserves the right to void the booking and retain the deposit. 

2. Payment in Full

2.1 At certain times, we reserve the right to offer the Client the ability to pay for the full amount upon booking with a discount.  

3. Cancellation

3.1 If you would like or need to cancel a booking, we require notice in writing. Any initial deposit once paid to Dirty Donkey Ltd is non-refundable under any circumstances.

3.2 If you have paid in full, you will still be entitled to a refund, but we will retain the equivalent of 25% of the full amount, and the balance will be returned within 30 days.  

3.3 If we receive a cancellation less than 30 days from the scheduled event date, no refund will be due under any circumstances.

3.4 All bookings are subject to a minimum/agreed guest numbers/number of pizzas. These will be confirmed in writing by Dirty Donkey Ltd.

3.5 Any exceptional costs previously agreed with the Client incurred by Dirty Donkey Ltd in preparation of the event up until the time of cancellation will be charged to the Client. 

3.6 In the event of a Government mandated lockdown, we will initially look to reschedule the event. If this is not possible, we will refund the deposit on the date of the event, assuming the lockdown is still in force on that date. If the regulations have relaxed, there will be no refund due. 

4. Changes to Events

4.1 Should Dirty Donkey Ltd be advised of any changes to event requirements (including the reduction of guest numbers/pizza) at a date less than 14 days prior to the event, Dirty Donkey Ltd reserves the right to reject these changes. 

4.2 Should increases in numbers of staff, pizzas, or any changes incurring extra costs to Dirty Donkey Ltd occur once payment has been received, Dirty Donkey Ltd will raise an additional invoice and payment will be due for immediate settlement by the Client. 

4.3 If there is any Government imposed limit on the number of guests, we will reduce numbers, although our minimum charge will be £520 (a 2 staff horse trailer and 40 pizzas).

5. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

5.1 Dirty Donkey Ltd will endeavour to provide suitable adaptations to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies.

5.2 We cannot take any responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no later than 10 working days prior to the event).  

6. Client Food and Drinks 

6.1 Dirty Donkey Ltd accepts no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss over the total amount of the booking costs. If you would like agree a higher liability limit for your booking, please let us know. We will be happy to discuss the options with you and what extra costs would be payable.

6.3 Note that this figure, which may change from time to time, is available upon request together with a copy of our Certificate. 

7. Force Majeure

7.1 Dirty Donkey Ltd shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Dirty Donkey Ltd.’s control and but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
